ROUM-14

MULTI-PURPOSE TRACTOR SEMI-TRAILED MANURE SPREADER

The only produced in Russia one-axle multi-purpose spreader of solid organic fertilizers with carrying capacity 14 t. ROUM-14 is designed for surface spreading of solid organic fertilizers (peat, dung, compost). When vertical beaters are removed the semi-trailer can be used for transportation of haylage, silo, etc with rear board, unloading with the help of conveyor floor.

Functional peculiarities:
• Lifetime period of the semi-trailer is considerably increased due to the walls and bottom which are produced from wear-resistant alloy steel. A wholly bended bunker lightens the semi-trailer`s framework and at the same time increases its solidity.
• Wheels disposition guarantees increased stability and maneuverability of ROUM-14 as well as minimizes angle of turn.
• Big tire size (650/75 R32) prevents the cultivated soil from excessive ramming and damage. It increases greatly off-the-road performance of the semi-trailer.
• 2 vertical beaters of big diameter are equipped with knives and blades. Beaters work on low rpm (usage of auger periphery speed) provides for even central and lateral distribution of fertilizers. Total width of effective spreading reaches 8-12 m, what allows decreasing of quantity of rides of ROUM-14 on the cultivated area.
• One-track transporter is produced from round high-tensile chain (used in mining equipment) which consists of chain sections connected by clamps. Such construction allows decreasing setup greatly and maintenance labour costs as well as disconnecting chain sections and replacing them by hand. Construction of transporter gives a possibility to delete probable plugging agents easily. Transporter is reversible.
• Chain automatic stretcher of transporter ensures simplicity and maintenance speed of the semi-trailer. Installed on back and front side gearbox increases operational safety of the semi-trailer. Transporter is controlled by hydraulic control valve. Transporter speed can be regulated either by tractor`s hydraulic control valve or by oil flow controller which is mounted on the semi-trailer.
• Wide-angle drive shaft is equipped with safety and free wheel clutches for beater`s gear box protection against overload. Moreover drive shaft of the beater is equipped with shearing bolt which additionally protects the beater`s gear box.
• Rotating drawbar gives safety of movement on uneven and sloping roads. Spring towing handle of the semi-trailer achieves smoother pace of ROUM-14 and mitigates knocks on the tractor framework.
